PROCUREMENT PROFESSIONALS MAKE A DIFFERENCE

RMGPA works year around to provide services that promote the value of public procurement.  Purchasing Month is an event that recognizes the significant contributions procurement professionals make to the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of small and large governmental agencies every single day.

In light of  current economic times there has never been a better time to highlight the impact of public procurement.  Research has proven time and again that educated and certified procurement professionals have the necessary skills and tools to get the most use from each and every taxpayer dollar.

With this in mind, procurement professionals are encouraged to take a proactive position by proclaiming March as the month to recognize the work of the purchasing profession.  RMGPA members should take this opportunity to plan and implement Purchasing Month activities in their respective area - involving their departments, agencies and communities to the fullest extent possible.
