Procurement department seeks a detail-oriented self-starter to perform purchasing functions related to buying materials and services in accordance with procurement policy and Federal and State regulations.
Minimum qualifications are a BA in business management, administration, or related field; a minimum of three (3) years professional level experience in government purchasing, which includes contract administration; knowledge of various types of contracts, techniques for contracting or procurement, and contract negotiation and administration; knowledge of the purchasing process and of procurement specifications sufficient to be able to prepare competitive solicitations; ability to communicate verbally and effectively with people; ability to type 25 wpm; and proficient in MS Word. A valid CO driver’s license and an acceptable driving record as outlined by DHA’s personnel policy are required. $43,658.76/yr to start with full benefits.
